1. Sirena Bay

Sirena Bay is tucked away in Ayia Triada, Pernera and is a well known local spot. Its beautiful beach and calm waters are enhanced by the tranquil beach bar / restaurant "Sirena Bay" where you can enjoy a refreshing drink, bite to eat or chill out in a beautiful setting. This beach definitely hits our top 100 places to see in Cyprus, it offers beauty and tranquility and if you are luck to visit in the less busy months you may even be the only one there listening to waves gently lap on to the shore.

This is one of our favourite beaches and offers sun bed and umbrella hire. There is parking at the top (usually free but in summer the restaurant may have a fee) or parking on the main road where you can walk down.

Directions: If you are coming from Kapparis roundabout towards golden coast hotel the beach is signed to Sirena bay and the turning is on your left side.

2. Konnos Beach

The area of Cape Greco lies between the resort towns of Ayia Napa and Protaras. This Beautiful Peninsula is actually a nature reserve that is largely unspoilt with many kilometers of signed walking and biking paths. The rocky landscape that ascends up to a breathtaking cliffside overlooks the crystal clear waters and nearby Ayia Napa.
At first glance you may not catch the wonders this place has to offer such as the Sea Caves, ruins of an Aphrodite temple and Konnos Bay Beach. Spending a day here is well worth it whether on foot, bicycle, bus or hired quad bike! Should you need refreshment the restaurant at the Grecian Park Hotel will be happy to serve you a cocktail with a beautiful view or down by Konnos Bay there is a great little café selling snacks and drinks.
There are several beaches in this area, with Konnos Bay being a sandy one with a clear swimming area and a personal favourite ours that just never gets old. This beach rests beneath the nature reserve cliffs. For me, the drive down in between the winding trees and the panoramic views are stunning each time especially when the sun is hitting the water just right. The Waters in these areas are teeming with sea life and underwater rock formations making them ideal snorkeling and scuba diving areas.
The sandy beach offers changing facilities, toilets and a cafe for snacks and drinks and during the summer there is a lifeguard on duty. Sun beds and umbrellas are available for hire and there is plenty of parking along the way down the hill, although go early if you want a spot closest to the beach.
The beautiful waters are crystal clear for swimming and its a family beach. There is also Mikes water sports located on the beach for those looking for something adventurous or take out a paddle board or kayak for a gentler afternoon on the calm waters.
Overall a must beach to visit if you are a beach lover. Don't forget to check out the sea caves, art park, grecian park cliff bar and the church with cave under neath when you are in the area to make it an extra special day.

Directions: If you are staying close to Protaras take the scenic route passed Protaras towards Ayia napa and follow the signs for cape greco and Grecian Park. If you are coming from Ayia Napa, come towards Protaras and follow the signs on the right for Cape Greco or Grecian Park hotel.
